Telephone Advice

Urgent matters

telephoneOur Rapid Access Team  (8.00am to 6.30pm), is available to help you if you have an urgent problem. Simply call 01420 84676 and ask for the Rapid Access (duty) Team. The receptionist will ask you a few questions to help the team understand the importance of your call and a telephone number you can be reached on. Please ensure you are going to be available on the number your leave for the return call.  Our reception staff are bound by the same Confidentiality Policy as our clinical staff.

Routine enquiries

Our doctors and nurses are happy to contact patients by telephone for matters that may not need a face-to-face consultation (or even to discuss whether a face-to-face consultation is required). Contact reception or complete an EConsult to arrange this. Please indicate  whether the request is for urgent advice or concerning a routine matter. You will be asked on which number you can be contacted. Please ensure you are going to be able to take call on that number. It is frustrating for you and the doctor/nurse to miss the call.
